Having the right equipment is essential to successfully running your home contact centre.  As well as needing somewhere quiet, well lit and with enough space for you to work comfortably, there are certain pieces of equipment you must have, as well as certain system requirements your laptop or pc must meet.

Please note, the system requirements listed are minimum requirements, and may change in the future, or even vary for different opportunities.  It is your responsibility to ensure you keep up to date with any changes, and to ensure your pc is suitable for any opportunities you enrol on before applying, as Arise will not refund you for any classes booked and not taken

Required Accessories

Certain accessories are required to use the Arise platform, as well as to gain certification

in the training courses.  Remember it is your responsibility to ensure you have everything you need

purchased and set up before you sign up to any certification courses, as refunds will not be given for

courses not taken.

Accessories for your call centre
  • USB headset with microphone

  • Landline phone with headset

  • Blank USB 3.0 stick

  • Fibre optic broadband (ethernet connection)

In order to participate in the training courses, and achieve certification, you will need a USB headset.  Recommended brands include Logitech, Plantronics, Microsoft, or similar.

Calls are routed through your landline (VOIP and mobile are not accepted).  You will also need a suitable headset to plug into your landline, allowing you to take calls and use the software

The Arise platform must be built on an external USB flash drive with a memory of between 8 - 32gb.  This USB stick once configured is designed to transform your PC into a service station for the chosen client program.  This means that when not in use, and ASD (Arise Secure Desktop) is not required, your PC will function normally, as ASD does not interact with your existing Windows operating system.

Wireless internet is not permitted for use with the Arise program.  Your PC must be connected via ethernet cable to the router, and your internet must have a minimum of 10 mbps download speed and Minimum of 3 mbps upload speed along with a latency of less than 120 milliseconds (ms).
